A one-off evening featuring one of Northern Ireland’s fastest-rising stars, Dom Martin, - in performance and in conversation with award-winning broadcaster Ralph McLean.

By now, Dom Martin needs little introduction – since bursting on the blues scene in 2019, the Belfast-born multi-award-winning artist has had a fairly meteoric rise in terms of today's industry. That acclaim is a reaction to his jaw-dropping, entirely natural-sounding skill on acoustic guitar, matched with an authentic 'Belfast Blues' voice.

It’s an approach that has attracted comparisons with artists like John Martyn, Rory Gallagher and Foy Vance, among others.

In April 2022, Dom released his sophomore studio album A Savage Life to rave reviews in the blues press, and was featured on the front covers of Blues Matters, Blues in Britain and Blues & Co.  In May 2022 he was nominated in an unprecedented five categories at The UK Blues Awards, lifting two awards and playing at the ceremony in London.

Hailed by many as the greatest Irish export since Rory Gallagher, 2024 is ripe for the picking for this multi-award winner, with plans for a UK Tour and appearance on the prestigious Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Mediterranean Cruise, hosted by Joe Bonamassa.

In this unique evening, Dom will be playing a selection of songs from his superb repertoire, and talking candidly about his life and music with one of our finest broadcasters, BBC Radio Ulster’s Ralph McLean.

“Dom Martin is the next rising star in the global roots scene. Jump aboard now before he passes you by.”
